In 1967, Sri Yerramraju Behara (Kamesh Maharshi) started Sri Kamakshi Charitable Trust.

In 1986, he responded to a social and cultural problem and provided a solution to help those in need. He started Sri Kamakshi Prema Mandiram to reshape the lives of many orphans as the most disciplined and responsible citizens of the society.

He sacrificed everything in his effort but succeeded in shaping many of the children's futures by providing them with shelter, education, care, and protection.

Worked for four years in Sri Ramadas Motor Transport Company

Started the ISRO journey by joining VSSC, Thiruvananthapuram in the year 1972.

After two years, transferred to SHAR, Sriharikota, and worked in the area of Solid propulsion systems and laid the foundation for many of today’s space technology achievements in India

Retired on July 1, 2003.

He is multi-talented. A stage actor, writer and director. Published many books and got awards too.

After retirement, settled at Kakinada

⦁ Joined Indian Air Force (IAF) on 14.06.1960, Worked in China Aggression from October 1962 to January 1963 at Tejpur, Worked in Pakistan Conflict from August 1965 to January 1966 at Ambala & Adampur, Honoured with Saina Seva Medal & Samar Seva Medal and discharged from service in July 1968.

⦁ Did business till 1985, and started devotional activities in Kovvur thereafter.

⦁ Started Sri Sundara Sai Seva Kendram Trust in 2000 and served as Chairman of the Trust from the beginning.

⦁ Started Sri Siva Sai Dhamam Seva Samiti as ancillary to the Trust and maintaining Smasan Vatika for cremation of unidentified dead bodies.
